WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College fell to University of Scranton 38-12 in a non-conference wrestling match Sunday. The Wildcats fell to 0-9, while the Royals improved to 13-1.
Chase Andrus earned the Wildcats first points with a 15-12 win at 133. Andrus trailed 7-4 after the first and 7-6 after the second but made a final push in the final period to earn the win.
Tanner Leid made it 20-6 with a 5-3 decision at 165 for Penn College before
Dylan Otis picked up the Wildcats only bonus points when he decked Salvatore Pompilio in 1:05 at heavyweight.
Leid was honored before the match in a senior day ceremony.
