Hailee Hartman,
Ashley Donat, and
Dominique Brown all netted multiple goals to help lead Penn College to a 9-0 win over College of Saint Elizabeth in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Sunday. The Wildcats improved to 5-2-2 NEAC, 8-6-3 overall, while the Eagles fell to 1-7, 1-12-1.
Hartman became Penn College's all-time leader in career goals with the 33
rd of her career. She topped the previous mark of 32 set by Robyn Beddow '15. Hartman now owns the record for career points (85), assists (21), and goals (33).
The Wildcats exploded with five scores in the opening half. Donat netted a pair – on assists from
Abby Williams and Hartman – Brown found the back of the net on a pass from Donat, while Hartman assisted on
Olivia Murgo's score in the 39
th before scoring unassisted in the 42
nd minute.
Donat completed her hat trick in the 46
th minute when she finished Brown's pass before Brown found the back of the net in the 55
th minute to make it 7-0.
Tiffany Brown's corner in the 82
nd minute found Hartman's head and
Carley DeVore finished off the scoring with when she chipped in Murgo's dime in the 84
th.
Penn College held a 28-4 advantage in shots and 6-1 in corner kicks.
Taylor Gonzalez picked up two saves.
