HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College netted a pair of second half goals in a 2-0 win over Penn College in a non-conference women's soccer match Wednesday. The Eagles improved to 10-7, while the Wildcats fell to 8-7-3.
After a scoreless 80-plus minutes, Juniata struck in the 82
nd minute and added a late score in the 89
th minute.
Penn College was shutout in shots, while Juniata fired 33. The Eagles held a 10-1 advantage on corner kicks.
Taylor Gonzalez stopped 16 shots in goal for the Wildcats.
Penn College wraps up the regular season Saturday, 3 p.m., hosting SUNY Cobleskill.
