WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College wrapped up the regular season with an 8-0 win over SUNY Cobleskill in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 9-7-3 overall, 6-2-2 NEAC, while the Tigers fell to 0-15, 0-9.
Penn College clinched its third-straight NEAC Playoff berth, and will travel to Keuka in Tuesday's first round game.
Ashley Donat netted the Wildcats first two goals – one assisted by
Tiffany Brown -- before
Hailee Hartman assisted
Hanna Williams, and later scored one of her own, to give PCT a 4-0 lead in the 26
th minute. Oiliva Murgo found the back of the net twice to give Penn College a 6-0 halftime lead.
Jane Herman netted a shot in the 56
th minute and
Jenna Rejman finished Chrissy Webber's pass in the 75
th minute to close out the scoring.
Penn College outshot the Tigers 30-0 and held an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Wildcats honored Brecia Beck, Herman, Hartman, and Williams who were playing in their final home games.
