WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – King's College used a three goal onslaught in the second half en route to a 4-0 win over Penn College in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Monarchs improved to 7-3-1, while the Wildcats dropped to 4-7.
King's added a score in the 21
st minute to take a 1-0 lead and tack on a second just after halftime in the 46
th minute. The Monarch's made it 3-0 in the 79
th minute and their final in the 86
th minute.
The Wildcats had one shot on frame in the first half when
Matthew Hibbs' attempt was saved.
King's outshot PCT 12-6 and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Hunter Gosnell stopped two shots in goal for Penn College.
