WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College snapped a two-game skid with a 1-0 win over Wilson College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference divisional crossover match Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 5-7 overall, 3-1 NEAC, while the Phoenix fell to 4-4-1, 2-2.

Penn College netted the game's lone goal in the 20^th minute when Ian Scheller headed in a rebound shot from Chris McFarland's header attempt that hit the post.  The Wildcats had another clean look at the goal in the 25^th minute but Mike Gonzalez' header attempt hit the post.

The Wildcats failed to put a shot on frame in the second half, while PCT keeper Malcolm Kane was busy with seven of 10 saves in the final period.

Wilson outshot Penn College 17-8 and held a 5-1 advantage on corner kicks.

Penn College returns to action Sunday, 12 p.m., hosting Lancaster Bible.
