GENEVA, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 65-40 decision to Grove City in a non-conference men's basketball contest Friday. The Wildcats fell to 0-2, while GC improved to 2-0.
Robert Young Jr. paced Penn College with seven points, while
Ben Sosa, Mike Troutman, Ryan Lockman,
Erik Perry Jr., and Diyel Stewart finished with five points each. Lockman grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Cory Huff led all scorers with 14 points for the Wolverines.
Grove City took a 34-15 halftime lead and outscored Penn College 31-25 in the second half.
The Wildcats netted 15 points off turnovers and earned 15 from its bench.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 3 p.m., against Geneva College.
