KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Keuka College dealt Penn College a 74-44 setback in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball Friday. The Wildcats fell to 3-21 overall, 3-15 NEAC, while the Wolves improved to 13-9, 10-7.
Alicia Ross led Penn College with a game-high 16 points and grabbed a team-best six rebounds. Gwendolyn Lavell added 12 points for the Wildcats and pulled down five boards.
Lauren Anten paced KC with 15 points, Sam Laranjo chipped in with 13, and Abby Hess finished with 12.
Keuka jumped out to a 25-6 lead after the first quarter before taking a 40-20 advantage at halftime. The Wolves outscored Penn College 18-13 in the third and 16-11 in the final quarter.
The Wildcats wrap up their season Saturday, 1 p.m., at Wells College.
