EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 3-0 decision to Wilkes University in a non-conference women's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 1-2-1, while the Colonels improved to 4-0-1.
Wilkes took a 1-0 in the 29
th minute and led 2-0 after a goal in the 58
th minutes. Penn College scored an own-goal in the 60
th minute to put the Colonels ahead 3-0.
Wilkes peppered the Wildcats with 23 shots and held PCT to just one shot.
Taylor Gonzales stopped five shots for Penn College and
Millie Landry picked up six stops for the Wildcats.
Penn College returns to action Sunday, 12 p.m., hosting Penn State-Altoona.
