Williamsport, PA – Penn College fell 4-0 in a non-conference men's soccer match with Westminster Sunday. The loss drops the Wildcats to 1-5, while the Titans improve to 3-4-1.
The day got off to dubious start for Penn College when Nick Iregui scored just eleven seconds into the game for Westminster. The Titans padded their lead with an Ahmed Cisse goal off a corner in the 28
th minute. Penn College some quality scoring opportunities in the first half. Both Jakob Lemay and
Christian Peters had headers that were saved by the Westminster goalie.
Westminster held a 12-9 advantage in shots and Penn College had 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Malcolm Kane stopped six shots in goal for the Wildcats. The Titans used three goalies who combined for a six save shutout.
Penn College returns to action Tuesday, 7 p.m. hosting Clarks Summit.
