WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College built a 1-0 halftime lead and tacked on a pair in the final period, en route to a 3-1 win over Clarks Summit in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Wildcats improved to 2-5, while the Defenders dropped to 4-4.
Matthew Hibbs netted the first goal in the 30
th minute when he beat multiple defenders and deposited the ball to the back of the net.
Greg Dorsch made it 2-0 after he headed in a

th minute. The Defenders cut into Penn College's lead in the 72
nd minute before a

th minute.
Penn College outshot Clarks Summit 12-9 and held a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Hunter Gosnell stopped two shots in goal for the Wildcats, while a pair of keepers combined for six saves for the Defenders.
Penn College opens North Eastern Athletic Conference play Saturday, 1 p.m., hosting SUNY Poly.
