LA PLUME, Pa. – Penn College won its third consecutive game with a 1-0 win over Keystone College in a non-conference women's soccer match Sunday. The Wildcats improved to 10-3, while the Giants dropped to 3-11.
Kaelan Cronan broke a scoreless tie in the 53
rd minute when she buried
Megan Bugbee's pass in the right corner. It was Cronan's team-high 12
th goal of the season.
Penn College's offense was persistent throughout the game with 16 shots on goal, but 15 of those attempts were stopped by KC's keeper. The Wildcats finished with 28 total shots and had nine corner kick attempts.
Taylor Gonzales stopped three shots in goal for PCT.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 7 p.m., at Penn State Altoona.
