KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Keuka College netted a pair of first half goals en route to a 2-0 win over Penn College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 5-6-1 overall, 5-3 NEAC, while the Wolves improved to 8-7, 5-3.
Keuka scored early in the contest with a goal in the eighth minute and found the back of the net in the 42
nd minute to lead 2-0 at halftime. The Wildcats managed just one shot in the first half.
Penn College had four shots in the second half, with none of them on target, while Keuka kept up the pressure with seven shots in the final stanza.
The Wolves finished with 17 shots, while Penn College had just five in the match. The Wildcats held a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
Hunter Gosnell finished with five saves for PCT.
Penn College returns to action Sunday, 2 p.m., at Wells College.
