WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College fell to Juniata College, 3-1, in a non-conference women's soccer match Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 11-7, while the Eagles improved to 7-9-1.
Juniata took a 2-0 lead before the break and added its final score in the 47th minute. Penn College got on the board in the 86nd minute when Madison Kistler's sliding kick found the left side of the net.
Juniata outshot Penn College 21-8 and held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
Taylor Gonzales stopped three shots in goal for Penn College and Charlee Marshall turned away a pair shots for the Wildcats in the second half.
The Wildcats return to action Saturday, 1 p.m., hosting Penn State Berks.
