WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College won its second-straight North Eastern Athletic Conference men's soccer match with a 3-0 win over Cazenovia College Saturday. Penn College improved to 4-2 NEAC, 4-5 overall, while Cazenovia fell to 2-4, 3-6.
Penn College struck early in the contest when
Colton Wartman cleaned up a scrum off a corner in the fourth minute and put the ball in the back of the net to give PCT a 1-0 lead.
Chris McFarland made it 2-0 in the 10
th minute when he converted a penalty kick after being fouled in the box.
Vance Gradwell netted the final shot in the 47
th minute with a one-versus-one run and score to put PCT ahead 3-0.
Penn College outshot Caz 10-5 and held a 10-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Hunter Gosnell stopped three shots in goal for PCT.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 7 p.m., hosting Juniata.
