AURORA, N.Y. – Wells College dealt Penn College a 90-54 setback in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Thursday. The Wildcats fell to 2-10 NEAC, 3-18 overall, while the Express improved to 5-8, 7-15.
Robert Young Jr. and
Erik Perry Jr. led Penn College with 13 points each. Young went 4 of 12 from the field, while Perry was an efficient 5 of 7.
Ben Sosa finished with nine points and 11 rebounds, while
Ryan Lockman grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.
Anthony Nesci scored a game-high 16 points for Wells, Rich Ross added 14, and David Dames ended with 12. Three other players netted 10 points for the Express.
Wells built a 50-23 halftime lead and outscored Penn College 40-31 in the second half.
