WASHINGTON, D.C. – Penn College knocked off Gallaudet, 6-0, in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats remained unbeaten at 4-0 overall, 2-0 NEAC, while the Bison dropped to 3-3, 1-1.
Kaelan Cronan scored her fifth goal this season in the 16
th minute, off a pass from
Kelly Williams, to put Penn College ahead 1-0.
Adeline Gesford fed
Erica Gallagher a through ball in the 37
th minute, which put Penn College up 2-0 at halftime.
Tiffany Brown contributed to the next three scores for Penn College in the second half.
She fed
Kelly Williams in the 49
th minute before scoring on back-to-back fast break goals in the 50
th and 51
st minutes. Gallagher assisted on both Brown goals.
Emily Bell made it 6-0 in the 67
th off a pass from
Christina Weber.
Penn College outshot Gallaudet 22-9 and held a 12-5 advantage in corner kicks.
Taylor Gonzales stopped four shots in goal for Penn College.
The Wildcats return to action Wednesday, 7 p.m., hosting Penn State-Harrisburg at Balls Mills in Williamsport.
