Box Score 2 Wildcats Pick Up First Win in Tri-Meet

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College battled in two tough women's volleyball matches in a tri-meet Saturday resulting in a nail-biting 5-set loss to College of Saint Elizabeth before bouncing back and picking up the first-win of the season over Cheyney University.

Against College of Saint Elizabeth,
The Wildcats fell in a close match 25-23, 21-25, 8-25, 25-18, and 10-15. The two teams went back and forth until the Eagles pulled away in the fifth and final set.Â

The Wildcats responded to a first set loss by winning the next three sets to win their first match of the season: 23-25, 25-21, 25-16, and 25-20. The energy was alive in Bardo gymnasium as the Wildcats roared to a big non-conference victory.Â
