WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College stayed unbeaten in the North Eastern Athletic Conference after 3-0 win over SUNY Poly in a women's match Sunday. PCT improved to 5-0 NEAC, 7-1 overall, while Poly fell to 1-4, 1-7-1.
Penn College scored early in the contest when
Erica Gallagher found
Kelly Williams on the right side in the first minute to make it 1-0. Gallagher struck just before the break in the 44
th minute when she smacked a shot from the 18.
PCT netted its final score in the 50
th minute on a
Tiffany Brown-to-
Kaelan Cronan hookup to make it 3-0.
Penn College outshot Poly 24-7 and held and a 9-1 advantage on corner kicks.
Taylor Gonzales stopped three shots in goal for PCT.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 4 p.m., at Susquehanna.
