UTICA, N.Y. – Penn College's late run wasn't enough in an 87-79 loss to SUNY Poly in Sunday's North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game. PCT fell to 1-9 NEAC, 2-17 overall, while Poly improved to 7-12.
Elijah Vazquez shared a game-high 29 points for Penn College,
Carson Garvis added 14, and
Spencer Bartron finished with 13.
Redell Freeman paced Poly with 29 points, Tyshaun Copper added 20, and Jake Kulakowski pumped in 15.
Poly led 48-34 at halftime and led by as many as 25 in the second half. Penn College ended the game with an 11-3 run to get its deficit below double digits.
Penn College returns to action Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., at Lancaster Bible.
