WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College fell to Lancaster Bible College 79-53 in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 1-11 overall, 0-4 NEAC, while the Chargers improved to 3-10, 1-3.
Cassi Kuhns scored a season-high 17 points on 8 of 14 from the floor and 1 of 3 from the line for Penn College.
Gwendolyn Lavelle finished 10 points and
Tori Wolfe grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
Caitlin Hickey led all scorers with 23 points for LBC, Lizzy Tilton and Christine Graves both finished with 14, and Mekenzie Smith added 10.
LBC led 20-15 after the first and 43-31 at halftime. The Chargers outpaced Penn College 36-22 in the second half.
Penn College returns to action Saturday, 1 p.m., hosting Wells College.
