WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 6-3 decision to Lycoming College in a non-conference men's tennis match Friday. The Warriors improved to 3-3, while the Wildcats fell to 1-3.
How it Happened: Penn College won two of three doubles competitions with victories by Luke Whitnight and
Blake Whitmire in No. 1, and
Joseph Morrin and Tucker Phillipe-Johansson in No. 2. Phillipe-Johansson earned Penn College third point with 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) win in No. 1 singles.
Jesse Kight and Zack Burkhart took their No. 3 double competition to a tiebreaker, before falling 9-7 (7-4).
