KINGSTON, Pa. – Penn College fell in a pair matches to King's College Sunday in a non-conference men's and women's doubleheader. The men lost 9-0 and fell to 1-4, while the women dropped a 9-0 decision and fell to 1-4.
How it Happened: In the women's match,
Olivia Eisenhauer and
Alexis Youse had the most competitive matches for the Wildcats. Eisenhauer dropped a 7-6 (8-6), 6-2 decision in No. 1 singles, while Youse went 6-0, 6-7 (5-7), 12-10, in No. 2.
In the men's meet,
Tucker Phillippe-Johansson was edged 8-6 in No. 1 singles, and
Tommy Cavanagh was strong in an 8-7 (7-3) setback in No. 6.
