EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. – Penn College surrendered a goal in each half and fell to Wilkes University, 2-0, in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Wildcats fell to 2-12-3, while the Colonels improved to 7-7-3.
How it happened: Wilkes netted a score in the 21st minute and tallied one in the 52nd.
Penn College fired two shots on goal in the opening 16 minutes but attempts from Adam Heintzelman and Daniel Jackson were saved.
Inside the Box: Wilkes outshot Penn College 29-3 and held an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Braeden Eckard turned away seven shots in goal for the Wildcats.
