WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College overcame a 1-0 deficit, with four unanswered goals, in a 4-1 win over SUNY Poly in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's soccer quarterfinal match Tuesday at UPMC Field. Penn College improved to 11-8-1, while Poly ended its season at 7-10-1.
How it Happened: After Poly netted a shot in the 23
rd minute, Penn College scored the equalizer in the 30
th minute when
Sloane Tressler sent a pass from the left that
Miya Roman deposited to the back of the net.
PCT separated itself from a 1-1 halftime score with three scores in the second half.

Morgan Brooks for a toe-poke goal in the 52
nd minute, before Brooks and
Kaelan Cronan combined for an assist on
Dominique Brown's goal in the 64
th minute.
Ashley Donat scored the final goal for Penn College when
Tiffany Brown's ball went through the keeper's legs, and she capitalized by sending the ball to the right side.
Inside the Box: Penn College outshot Poly 20-16, including an 11-8 shots on-goal advantage. PCT held a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
Taylor Gonzales stopped seven shots in goal for Penn College.
Outside the Box:
Dominique Brown scored her team-best 12
th goal this season, Brooks netted her seventh, Roman her third, and Donat her first.
It was the first match this season that Penn College overcame a deficit and won a game.
"I'm very proud of the team for overcoming that early goal and battling through that adversity," Penn College coach
Christa Matlack said. "Our defense regrouped well, and four different player's scored goal. It was a true team effort."
