ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Penn College went 1-2 at the Tigers Duals hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology Sunday to wrap up its dual meet season with a program-record 12 dual meet wins in the NCAA era. The Wildcats beat Alfred State, 50-6, and fell to Oneonta, 42-11, and RIT, 38-9.

The 2012 team, which competed in the USCAA, won 13 dual meets.

Against Alfred State,
After surrendering a forfeit at 125, Penn College won the ensuing nine matches. Falls by Colin Jens (133), Jesse Walker (149) and Daniel Bergeron (165) and forfeits at 141 and 157 put the Wildcats up 30-6. Colin Browne picked up an 18-2 tech fall at 174 and Dylan Otis edged out a 1-0 victory at heavyweight.

Against Oneonta,
Bergeron picked up his second pin of the day in 1:28 for Penn College's only contested win of the match, while a forfeit at 184 gave the Wildcats their other six points.

Against RIT,
Jared Mooney decked his opponent at 197 in 1:52 to get Penn College on the board before Otis battled No. 10 ranked Connor Calkins to a 3-1 decision at heavyweight. After a scoreless first, Otis went ahead 1-0 with an escape in the second and picked up two near fall points from a cradle in the third.
Penn College returns to the mat Saturday at Muhlenberg College.
