ELMIRA, N.Y. – Penn College dealt Elmira College a 6-3 setback in a non-conference men's tennis match Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 2-2, while the Eagles fell to 0-6.
Tucker Phillippe-Johansson picked up a 6-2, 6-4 win in No. 1 singles and
Nicholas Pascual earned a 6-1, 6-1 win in No. 2 singles.
Stephen Helminiak battled in No. 5 singles with a 6-3, 6-4 (10-7) win and
Tommy Cavanagh won 6-0, 6-4 in No. 6 singles.
Phillippe-Johansoon and Pascual teamed to win No. 1 doubles, 8-4, and Cavanagh and
Stephen Helminiak won No. 3 doubles, 8-4.
Penn College returns to action Friday, 4:30 p.m., at Lancaster Bible College.
