In game one,
Penn College came out swinging!  With the bats hot in the first inning, the first 3 batters reached base to load the bases early.  After a play at the plate to pick up the first out and bases still loaded, Taylor Brooks drilled a single to score Taylor Krow for the first run of the game and take a 1-0 lead.  Gillian Sinnott would add another single to bring in Kylie Schreiner to make it 2-0.  Tori Siler kept the momentum going by reaching base on an error by the catcher, but scored a run, to take a 3-0 lead.  Up next, Maddie Wenk ripped a single to bring in Brooks and Sinnott.  With the offense still on fire, the next two batters, Olivia Hemstock and Krow, batted for the second time this inning, each reached on a fielder's choice and scored an RBI apiece, to take a commanding 7-0 lead in the first inning.

Penn College never looked back.  Shayla Bickel doubled in the top of the third inning and was later brought in by Krow on a sacrifice fly, to go up 8-0.  Then in the fifth inning, with Hemstock and Krow on base, Chelsea Gray smacked a double to bring in Hemstock for the RBI and advance Krow to third base.  Brooks was still in the zone as she stepped up and hit a single to bring in 2 RBIs, to go up 11-0.

Cazenovia scored 3 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning but couldn't get any closer than that.  The game ended early and Penn College picked up the first win of the day, 11-3.

Brooks led the Wildcats offense going 3-4 with 1 run and 3 RBIs.  Shreiner, Sinnott and Bickel eached added 2 hits to combine for 3 runs.

Kyla Benner (5-3) went the distance on the mound to earn the win with 6 strikeouts and 3 runs (2 earned).

In game two,
Penn College looked early to have a similar performance as game one.  In the first inning, with Kylie Shreiner on second base and Chelsea Gray on first base, Taylor Brooks hit a deep shot for a double and to score 2 RBIs, to take an early 2-0 lead.

After a scoreless second inning, Penn College bounced back in the third inning when Gillian Sinnott hit a hard double to score Gray.  The offense continued with a single from Maddie Wenk and an RBI from Emily Wikane, to go up 4-0.

Cazenovia would respond by scoring their first run of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning to close the gap, 4-1.  Then, in the bottom of the sixth inning, with two runners on base, Cazenovia hit a 3-run home run to tie the game at 4-4.

The game went to extra innings when both teams failed to score in the seventh.  Penn College struck first by taking a 5-4 lead in the top of the eighth inning when Krow doubled and scored Kiana Lukoskie.  The lead didn't last for long as Cazenovia answered with two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to win the game 6-5.
