WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College fell 71-52 to Lancaster Bible College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball game Wednesday. The Wildcats dropped to 6-15 overall, 4-8 NEAC, while the Chargers improved to 11-10, 9-3.
How it Happened: Following four ties in the opening 10 minutes of the game, Penn College took its final lead, 20-19, on a
Ryan Lockman layup with 9:02 before halftime. The Chargers answered with a 9-3 run to lead 28-22 and eventually built a 40-27 halftime lead.
LBC led by double figures the entire second half.
Inside the Box:
Ben Sosa scored a team-high 15 points and
Carson Garvis finished with 12.
Jordan Shewbridge netted a game-high 22 for LBC.
Outside the Box: Sosa is 19 points shy of passing Craig Flint (1,196) for fourth all-time in career points.
