WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 70-50 decision to Lancaster Bible in a North Eastern Athletic Conference women's basketball game Wednesday. The Wildcats fell to 5-15 overall, 2-10 NEAC, while the Chargers improved to 10-11, 8-4.
How it Happened: LBC led nearly the entire first quarter, while the Wildcats got as close as two on two separate occasions, the final one coming when
Lydia Albert's layup made it 6-4 early in the game. The Chargers held a two-possession lead the entire second quarter and took a 29-17 advantage into the locker room.
Bible held a double-digit lead the rest of the game.
Inside the Box:
Cassi Kuhns scored a team-high 16 points for Penn College and
Ja'Quela Dyer added 13 points, and a team-high nine rebounds and four assists.
Caitlin Hickey led all scorers with 24 points.
