Wildcats Tie at PSU-Abington, 0-0

Box Score ABINGTON, Pa. – Penn College traveled to battle United East rival Penn State Abington and drew a 0-0 tie in a men's soccer match Saturday.  The Wildcats fell to 3-6-3 overall, 1-1-2 UE, while the Lions improved to 4-4-1, 1-1-1.

How it Happened: The Wildcats saw three scoring chances turned away in the first half and six shots in the second half.  Penn College added two more shots in 2OT but could not find the back of the net.  

Inside the Box: Penn College and Abington each tallied 11 shots, while the Wildcats held a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.  Colton WartmanChris McFarland and Dylan Dailey led the Wildcats' offensive attack each with 2 shot attempts.    

Braeden Eckard finished with five stops in goal for Penn College.

Up Next: The Wildcats return to action Tuesday, 1 p.m., hosting Juniata College.
