WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 77-57 setback to McDaniel in a non-conference men's basketball game Friday in the first game of the Crosstown Challenge. The Wildcats fell to 0-1, while the Green Terror improved to 1-0.
Inside the box: Penn College battled in the first half and trailed 32-26 at halftime, while McDaniel outscored Penn College, 45-31, in the second half.
Corey Blackwell and
Max Jackowsky both netted 13 points to lead the Wildcats. Blackwell went 4 of 19 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds, while Jacksowsky was 4 of 8 and pulled down five boards.
Obens Luxama netted 12 points, on 3 of 13 shooting.
Mike Wallace led all scorers with 25 points for McDaniel, while Josh Aruda finished with 15 and Chris McAboy added 10.
