WINCHESTER, Va. – Penn College dropped a 1-0 decision to Shenandoah University in a non-conference men's match Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 1-2-1, while the Hornets improved to 2-2.
How it Happened: Nathan Yared scored the eventual game-winner early in the second half and the Hornets turned away three shots on goal by Penn College to hold on for the victory.

Chris McFarland, and Gabe McKeon all put shots on frame in the second half but were unable to find the back of the net.
Inside the Box: SU held a slight edge in shots, 11-10, while Penn College had the advantage in corner kicks, 8-4.
Justin Potts picked up three saves in goal for the Wildcats.
