Wildcats Fall to Lions, 1-0

Box Score READING, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 1-0 decision to Albright College in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday evening. The Wildcats fell to 1-3-1, while the Lions jumped to 1-3-1.

How it Happened: John Villano scored the eventual game-winner midway through the first half and the Lions turned away eight shots on goal by Penn College to hold on for the victory.

Inside the Box: Penn College held the advantage in shots, 15-7, including 8 shots on goal to Albright's 2.  The Wildcats also edged the Lions in corner kicks 6-4.  

Daniel Jackson led the Wildcats with four shots, including three shots on goal, and Chris McFarland contributed four shots as well.  

Braeden Eckard picked up one save in goal for the Wildcats.

Up Next:  Penn College returns to action Saturday, September 18th, 7 p.m., hosting United East rival Lancaster Bible College.
