Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College beat Clarks Summit University, 2-0, in a non-conference men's soccer match Thursday evening. The Wildcats improved to 2-5-2, while the Defenders fell to 2-4.
How it Happened:
Daniel Jackson had a direct kick at the 25-yard line which ricocheted off the goal post where
Colton Wartman followed up and punched it in for the Wildcats to go up 1-0 in the ninth minute of the game. The Wildcats and Defenders went back and forth for the rest of the first half as the Wildcats led 1-0 going into halftime.
In the 70th minute,
Chris McFarland placed a corner kick perfectly in front of the goal for
Matt Neeson to knock in the back of the net as the Wildcats increased their lead to 2-0. With the assist, McFarland broke the Penn College men's soccer career assist record with 14 total assists. He passed Tarik Laroche who held the record since 2015 with 13 assists.
Inside the Box: Penn College outshot Clarks Summit, 10-5, but the Defenders held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.

the win in goal for the Wildcats with 1 save.
