WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dealt Penn State Berks a 67-22 setback in a United East women's basketball game Tuesday. The Wildcats improved to 4-11 overall, 3-5 United East, while the Nittany Lions fell to 0-14, 0-7.
How it happened: The Wildcats scored the first 12 points of the game – led by five points from
Kayleigh Miller – and finished the quarter ahead 24-3. Penn College outscored Berks, 10-6, in the second quarter to head into the break ahead 34-9.
The Wildcats outpaced the Lions, 21-7, in the third and 12-6 in the fourth.
Inside the box:
Rachel Teats and Miller both finished with a game-high 12 points for Penn College, while
Emily Pardee added 10 off the bench.
Cassi Kuhns grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds and added 10 points and
Bell Hitesman pulled down 10 rebounds.
