WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College scored two second half goals en route to a 2-0 win over Morrisville Saturday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats improved to 4-2 United East, 6-8-1 overall, while the Mustangs fell to 2-4, 4-7-1.
How it happened: Following a scoreless first half, Penn College got on the board in the 50
th minute when
Sara Darlington split two defenders for her seventh goal of the season. The Wildcats made it 2-0 a minute later after Billiegean Hennessy deposited a penalty kick to the top left.
Inside the box: Penn College outshot Morrisville, 30-0, and a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks.
