WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College picked up a 1-0 win over Keuka College in a nonconference men's soccer match Tuesday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats improved to 4-10-2, while the Wolves fell to 3-9-2.

How it happened: Tad Shellenberger broke a scoreless tie in the 73^rd minute when he launched a shot just right of the goal and into the back of the net. Penn College keeper Braden Eckard preserved the shutout after he stopped a wide-open shot in the 89^th minute.

The Wildcats just missed on two opportunities in the first half when Clayton Gothel and Cooper Smith both had shots hit the crossbar in the 24^th and 37^th minutes.

Inside the box: Penn College outshot Keuka, 20-3, and held a 9-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Eckard picked up his first win this season with three stops.
