HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 3-0 decision to Juniata in a nonconference men's soccer match Tuesday. The Wildcats fell to 2-7-3, while the Eagles improved to 7-5.
How it happened: Juniata took an early 1-0 lead with an assisted goal in the third minute and added another score in the 26
th to take a 2-0 halftime lead. The Eagles netted their third goal in the 84
th minute.
Penn College had a good look in the 33
rd minute, but
Logan Stapleton's shot was turned away.
Inside the box: Juniata outshot Penn College, 23-2 (14-1 on goal) and held a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Braeden Eckard stopped 11 shots in goal for the Wildcats.
