READING, Pa. — Penn College men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 United East decision at Penn State Berks on Saturday. The Wildcats now are 1-3-1 in the conference and 2-8-3 overall. PS Berks is 2-3 in the UE and 3-8-1 overall.
How it Happened: Berks built a 4-0 lead with two goals in each half, while Penn College scored late to avoid the shutout.
Inside the Box: Michael Dougherty came through with the lone Wildcat goal in the 89th minute. Berks led in shots, 11-7; shots on goal, 8-5; and in corner kicks, 4-2. Braeden Eckard made one save in goal for Penn College and Cole Catherman had two saves.
Up Next: Penn College hosts Susquehanna University at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a nonconference match.
