WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College pumped in nine second half goals en route to a 15-5 win over Juniata College in a men's lacrosse contest Sunday. The Wildcats improved to 1-0, while the Eagles fell to 0-1.
How it happened: Both teams traded two goals each in the opening five minutes before
James Thatcher broke a 2-2 deadlock with a goal with 6:13 on the clock to give Penn College a 3-2 lead. Thatcher netted his second early in the second quarter and later found
Trevor Soli with 5:45 on the clock to give the Wildcats a 5-2 advantage. The Eagles scored back-to-back scores to get within one, 5-4, before
Brendan Kuczma's made it 6-4 with an unassisted goal before halftime.
After trading a goal each early in the third quarter to make it 7-5, Penn College exploded with eight unanswered goals the remainder of the game.

Dylan Klemas won 17 of 19 faceoffs and
James Cella improved to 1-0 in goal with seven saves.
