WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 15-5 decision to Shenandoah in a non-conference men's lacrosse game Wednesday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats fell to 1-1, while the Hornets improved to 1-0.
How it happened: SU jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the opening 10 minutes of the game. Penn College netted its first goal when
Nathan Hugo found
Brendan Kuczma and made it 3-2 on
Guerin San Agustin's goal with 3:13 left in the first. The Hornets scored the next four goals to take a 7-2 halftime lead.
Shenandoah built its lead to 10-2 with 5:12 left in the third before Penn College made it 10-3 on San Agustin's second goal of the game. Hugo later scored his first goal and
James Thatcher added a late tally for the Wildcats.
Inside the box: San Agustin led Penn College with two goals and
Dylan Klemas was 12 of 20 at faceoffs.
James Cella turned away 15 shots in goal for the Wildcats.
