CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Penn College was swept by Wilson College in nonconference baseball action on Wednesday, 10-5 and 7-6. Penn College now is 6-6. Wilson is 11-2.
The Wildcats struck first in the opener, taking a 3-0 first-inning lead with a single by
Brian Robison driving in two of the runs. Wilson scored twice in the second and added three runs in the fourth frame to pull ahead before
Shane Price drilled a two-run homer in the fifth to knot the score at 5-all. In the sixth, Wilson unloaded with five runs against Penn College reliever
Gabe Reptsik for its win.
Jacob Carles had two hits, including a double, and scored twice for the Wildcats.
Trailing 4-0 after three innings in the second game,
Cameron Dick smashed a three-run homer to highlight a five-run fourth inning and Penn College added a single run in the fifth before the Phoenix scored single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to win.

Tyler Rudolph each had two hits for the Wildcats. Reliever
Tyler Rudolph, the fifth Penn College pitcher, took the mound loss.
Penn College opens United East play at 2 p.m. on Friday at Lancaster Bible College.
