WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College edged FDU-Florham 15-12 in a nonconference men's lacrosse game Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 4-4, while the Devils fell to 1-4.
How it happened:
Trevor Soli netted the game's first two goals to give Penn College a 2-0 lead before FDU matched him to even the game at 2-2 with 11:24 left in the first quarter. The Wildcats found the back of the net four more times in the first to take a 7-3 lead with 4:27 on the clock but the Devils scored three-straight to make it 7-6 early in the second quarter. Penn College ended the first half with three unanswered scores to lead 10-7 at halftime.
FDU scored all three goals in the third to pull within one, 10-9, at the end of the period.
After both teams traded two scores each to start the fourth,
Quinn Caviola found Soli to make it 13-11 and Soli later hooked up with Brenda Kuczma to put PCT ahead 14-11 with 1:36 left in the game.

James Thatcher and Caviola paced Penn College with five points. Thatcher finished with four goals and an assist, while Caviola dished out five helpers. Soli (3),
Sam Hills (3), and
Colby Williamson all finished with multiple goals for the Wildcats.
James Cella stopped 22 shots in goal to get the win.
