WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. –Penn College was edged by Morrisville, 10-6, in a United East men's lacrosse game Friday. The Wildcats fell to 0-1 United East, 4-5 overall, while the Mustangs improved to 1-0, 5-2.
How it happened:
James Thatcher struck first for Penn College five minutes into game before Morrisville tied the game with an unassisted tally five minutes later.
Quinn Caviola found the back of the net at 4:20 and the Mustangs answered to deadlock the game at 2-2 at the end of the first quarter. Morrisville outscored Penn College 4-0 in the second quarter to take a 6-2 halftime lead.

Devin Page early in the third to make it 6-3 and
Sam Hills answered a Morrisville score with 2:24 left in the third to keep the Wildcats within three, 7-4. The Mustangs started off the fourth with a pair scores before Thatcher found
Trevor Soli at 11:06 and later deposited a
Guerin San Agustin pass at 9:08.
Inside the box: Thatcher led Penn College's offense with two goals and a pair of assists.
James Cella stopped 11 shots in goal for the Wildcats and
Isaac Hernandez anchored the defense with three caused turnovers.
