AURORA, N.Y. – Penn College knocked off Wells College, 22-13, in a United East men's lacrosse game Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 3-1 United East, 8-6 overall, while the Express fell to 2-4, 3-8.
Inside the box: Penn College took an 18-4 halftime lead and added four more in the second half.
Quinn Caviola led Penn College with eight points, on four goals and four assists.
Guerin San Agustin added three goals and four assists and
James Thatcher scored three goals and dished out three assists.
Andrew Osterman,
Nathan Hugo, and
Brendan Kuczma all scored two goals.
The Wildcats won 25 of 37 faceoffs, with
Dylan Klemas leading the way with nine wins at X.
James Cella (10 saves) and
Chad Szatkowski (3) combined for 13 saves in goal for Penn College.
