WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Penn College dropped a tough nonconference men's soccer match Wednesday evening to King's College, 1-0. The Wildcats fell to 2-5-3, while the Monarchs jumped to 4-4-2.
How it happened: After a deadlock first half with a score of 0-0 at halftime, King's scored a goal in the 80
th minute before going on to win, 1-0.
Mitchell Lesh led the Wildcats with three shots, while
Tad Shellenberger,
Brandon Ratjavong, and
Matt Neeson added a shot apiece.
Inside the box: King's College outshot Penn College, 14-6 (4-0 on-goal), and held a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
Cole Catherman picked up three saves in goal for the Wildcats.
