LANCASTER, Pa. – Penn College women's soccer downed Lancaster Bible, 3-1, in United East Conference clash on Monday night, Oct. 2. The Wildcats improved their conference mark to 1-1-1 (7-1-5 overall) while the Chargers sit at 2-1-0 (8-2-0 overall).

How it Happened: Sara Darlington tallied her third goal of the season in just the fourth minute of the contest before the Chargers tied it in the eighth. Wiley Egan put Penn College back in front in the 70th minute and Kaelynn Sheetz scored her 15th goal of the season in the 83rd minute. Cassie Johnson added two assists to Darlington and Sheetz in the victory. 

Inside the Box: The Wildcats outshot the Chargers 12-8 and held a 6-2 shots on goal advantage in the win. Nicole Lichtinger registered her fifth win on the season while recording just one save across 90 minutes in net.

Up Next: Penn College is back in action at 3 p.m., on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 4, to take on Saint Vincent College.
