LANCASTER, Pa. -- Penn College men's soccer fell to Lancaster Bible, 1-0, in the regular season finale on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The Wildcats finish 7-6-3, 2-3-1 UEC and the Chargers sit 8-8-2, 4-2-0 UEC as the two sides wait to see where they end up in the final standings and the United East Volt Division playoff bracket.
How it happened: After a scoreless first 45 minutes, the Chargers held onto a 57th-minute goal from Tommy Elder to claim the victory on their home turf. LBC's defense did not allow a PCT shot on goal in the match.
Inside the box: Logan Confer,
Tad Shellenberger and
Tommy DeGeyter were all credited with a shot, but nothing came on frame while
Cole Catherman turned away six of seven shots on goal from the home team.
