ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Penn College women's basketball fell to Curry College, 75-38, on the first day of the Elmira Tip-Off Tournament. The Wildcats fall to 0-2 while the Colonels move to 2-0.
How it happened: Penn College was held to just 17.3% shooting as the Colonels built at 37-12 lead at the half. Penn College added 26 second half points with 11 in the third and held a 15-14 edge in the fourth.
Maddie Adams posted a team-high 11 points and eight boards in the game.Â
Inside the box: Seven different Wildcats joined Adams in the scoring column.
Rachel Teats scored eight and had four rebounds.
Keeley Baker finished with five points and
Allie Troup had four.Â
